Fire Alarm Install Technician

We are immediately looking for experienced CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technicians in the London, ON area to join a busy and established fire protection service company.

Fire Service Technicians will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of systems: fire alarm, light, and integrated systems.

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• CFAA Certification
• 3 years minimum experience with fire and life safety systems
• Experience with Programming required
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledgeable of provincial building & fire codes for inspection purposes
• Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, submittals, schematics, and operational manuals
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and comfortable working in sometimes difficult positions or heights such as climbing ladders, scaffolds, crawl spaces, ducts etc.
• Flexible to work extended hours or weekends to meet customer requirements
• Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record

Successfully hired Fire Service Technicians must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and Driving).
