Fire Alarm Technician - CFAA Licensed

We are immediately looking for experienced CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technicians in the GTA to join a busy and established total fire protection service and contracting company that has been in business for over 30 years.

Fire Service Technicians will inspect, install, troubleshoot, service, and repair a variety of systems: fire alarm, light, and integrated systems.

FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• CFAA Certification
• 5-7 years’ experience with fire and life safety systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledgeable of provincial building & fire codes for inspection purposes
• Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, submittals, schematics, and operational manuals
• Able to lift up to 40lbs and comfortable working in sometimes difficult positions or heights such as climbing ladders, scaffolds, crawl spaces, ducts etc.
• Flexible to work extended hours or weekends to meet customer requirements
• Valid “G” driver’s license and clean driving record

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

• $30.00 - $38.00/hour

SHIFT: Days, Monday – Friday. Must be flexible to work extended hours and/or weekends as required based on operational needs and projects.
